The picture above is the offset license plate bracket, use it, and the OEM hardware, and provided 1- 10mm panhead bolt/nylon lock nut to install it and license plate. The 2 smaller delrin shims require 4- M6 stainless steel panhead bolts and are installed to the lower support arm behind the da-sta-co latch mount in the M6 tapped hole locations. These take up the space gaps behind the de-sta-co latch and allow for a positive lock. Note you will need to adjust latch to firmly close by adjusting the jam nut and lock nut accordingly. The carrier is shipped assembled, however you will need to disassemble to install lower seal, grease and reassemble with castle nut securely tightened allowing access to cotter pin safety to be installed. The larger heavier 3/16" shim spacer is provided, and only used, if the spindle housing is too close to the plastic bumperette corner upon finally assembly- i.e final torque settings on all lower arm bolt locations. The large ball knob replaces the nut on the spindle lock, remove packaging nut and install knob.
