For future generations, the magnet switch #1 (under passenger side battery box) @asutherland was able to use was a Cole Hersee 24812, I've recently run into the same issue as him and it will require replacement.

Ok, this is a really old thread revival but I’m dealing with this as well. I took apart my winch because when I operated it it dumped all the ATF, and now I cleaned it and replaced all the seals (including the O ring on the motor side, the X ring where the drum mounts on the motor shaft, and the small round cap type seal). And yet .. when I operate the winch, oil comes out from the motor side. I did forget to put MP grease anywhere the arrows in the FSM say I must, but that can’t possibly be the cause, can it?

Probably not related to the grease points. If I were guessing I'd say the seal didn't sit properly or got damaged.

I ended up ditching my oem winch after it constantly let me down, usually when I needed it most, and brought a Warn XPS9.5. No regrets.

Hi, was wondering if this FSM was still available? Thanks in advance!
I have it, I'll upload it when I'm at the computer tomorrow 😁

Here you go! (sorry I didn't see the question).

Meanwhile, I rebuilt my winch, redid all the seals, loaded up the ATF and the bastard is leaking from the right side (when facing the car). So infuriating. Same place it leaked from before I took it apart. No idea what to do with it, argh,
