=] I was dying as well, first thing that came to my mind when you said cribs. But yeah we should do some walk around videos for the different types of SS1 sleepers out there .

This claim isn't based on any facts but I feel like the leg style platform allows for by far the most storage capacity of any option out there. You lose a lot of space with drawers and big bulky setups.


It took me a few dozen trips of playing gear tetris but I now fill ever square inch below the platform with all I need to get by for a week+ on the road. If I could somehow get a fridge/freezer in the mix because my only gripe is having to huck my cooler up an down off the platform for sleeping but no big deal.

Hey guys - giving an update to the group. ADGU drawers are awesome out here in the field. Currently camping in Pedernales Falls in Texas while working remotely and mountain biking.

The drawers have made life on the road much easier. My full build has performed great, really just missing an awning, internet/boosted cell service and some lighting at this point. I've been thrilled to be on the road.

I just checked the website for the first time in a while...Did the prices go up? I recall the LC100 premier package drawers with sleeper was around $2000, and with the kitchen and table it was $3000. Now just the drawers and platform are $3000 on their own? Or am I misremembering?

How do you have your cooler mounted? My only gripe currently is hucking my big heavy ass cooler up on the platform and back out when it's time to sleep.

It is mounted to my Dissent Swing Out with the Yeti straps. The cooler design is great that the cooler stays mounted via straps while it can be opened. It lives on my swingout and is secured via masterlocks.

We did rearrange pricing a few months ago. We started including shipping or install so that there's no additional cost at checkout. That makes the prices all look higher, but the net effect to any given order is less significant than it may initially appear.

Additionally, we did introduce a small price bump. We put off price increases as long as we could, but finally had to do something a few months ago given the unrelenting rise in prices of... well basically everything.

We get a lot of questions about how much weight our Slide Out Table can support, so we put this video together to demonstrate just how much it can hold! I am intrigued to attempt winter camping with my doggos, how did you get comfortable with making your first trip out in very cold temps?

It's super fun, the key to it all is keeping dry. Once stuff starts getting wet you will be miserable.

Layering and good insulation clothes are also important. A good base layer ( not cotton ) , a puffy mid layer, and water proof or puffy outside layer..... We have a pretty heavy sleeping bag and we zip two together, its more like a big ass blanket that holds it's heat nicely.
Don't bother trying to keep the truck warm, crack the windows and let the breeze flow or else you will most likely fog up pretty good. Try not to breathe in the sleeping bag either to avoid condensation and freezing.. We keep a small little battery powered fan hanging in the back to help circulate the air. We also have a little 12V boot dryer if they get too wet.


Dog sleeps up front with a sheet down over everything and his dogg-o sleeping bag in the driver seat....

One or two day trips are manageable, any longer keeping everything dry and warm is challenging. We didn't do any real cooking on this trip which made life easier. Just brought some sandwiches and "just add hot water" stuff like ramen noodles.

We're looking for some advice from the esteemed 'Mud community!!

What do you guys think about a 'static' drawer face? We are thinking this would be a customer-selected option. You could select the existing 'winged' drawer face, or for about $150 less per system you can opt for the static drawer face.

Do you think this is a viable/attractive option? As far as we can tell, the ADGU system is the only one with a 'winged' drawer face, so it appears the general approach to accessing the storage area under the wing is to simply open the drawer. The top access wouldn't be affected at all

Static face Pros:

• $150 less expensive

Static face Cons:

• Drawer has to be opened to access storage area from front of drawer (top access unaffected)

I've attached a few pictures showing the hinge mechanism for the 'winged' drawer face. It's perhaps more complicated than you might realize at first, with fiber reinforced 3D printed brackets, 270deg hinges and a 'snap shut' feature that we absolutely love, but it all adds up to more $$$. Also a few pics of the static offer

To be clear we are keeping the winged face, just considering adding a less expensive static option. So, what do you think?

If its easy to have it as an option its a win. I like mine to access my Power Inverter and plugs that I have hiding there.

The general consensus has been that people enjoy the access the winged front provides! We'll have to keep the option of a static in mind, that might end up on the website eventually.

That's a tempurpedic adapt topper, 3" . It was good to give a little more headspace but if you sleep on your side you can sort of sink in feel the platform. It is for sure better than any sleeping pad if you have the space though.

We usually use the Milliard 6" tri-fold mattress. Extremely comfortable and I sleep better on it then I do at home.

6" pictured below, not much head space but we just crawl in and put the tablet on and watch movies before dozing off. Tablet mounts to the rear window panels.
