Air Filter Melting?

Pulled the air filter today- noticed the steel mesh top screen looks like it's melting, top of the cover looks damaged also? Is there a fix? What causes this?

yessir! I have the Charcoal Canister and a Fuel pump on order. I did spray the radiator and applied a little Coil Cleaner to the parts of the radiator I could access. Sometimes the temp varies between 198-215F after the cleaning..so hard to determine if that helped, I was told Previous Owner did replace the radiator with OEM several years ago(?) .

Wonder if Lean Fuel Mix can be tweaked using Techstream??

No! No TS FI adjustments!
Vacuum leak, clogged fuel filter, weak fuel pump, clogged fuel injector(S), MAF dirty or wonky or most common reasons for lean condition.
