Here are the 285/55/20 BFG/AT KO2’s on my 2015 LX570 after 20,000 miles no measurable wear only positive comments from me and people that see them comments “that’s what should’ve come on that kind of vehicle”. For some reason the tread on the 285 is 1 inch wider than the tread on the 275 on this particular tire and the 285 cost about $100 more per tire than the 275 size
I got over 80,000 miles on my last set of BFG KO tires and these are doing even better I rotate every 5K. I only drive on the street and these tires have never seen snow but are good in the rain. around town I usually ride in normal or comfort range on the freeway I put it in sport feels good at all settings.

Looks real good. What about adding a 1" spacer.

I have 2014 LX570 and am also looking for next set of tires. Been doing a lot of rainy fire trail driving to and from a cabin we rented. The stock tires are ok bc I take it slow and the LO mud setting in the L4 does a great job of moving the power around to the wheels that need it. However, a better set of tires would help this beast. Those BFGs you put on look great and gives the vehicle a tough look to lend to its capabilities vs the soccer mom look.

I am also having fun playing with the various modes and options such as locking the center differential and turn assist.

The crawl mode sucks. Too much noise and jerking the vehicle.

It does sound like a bag of hammers, but it's amazingly effective. I've been buried twice and it saved my butt.

maybe i am using it wrong. I tried it on a descent of 20˚ and put in the first speed. It seems to use the anti-lock braking but was on and off and causing the vehicle to surge back and forth and threw my small dogs out of the back seat all three times I tried it. any suggestions?

I have been lucky and have two sets of wheels and tires right now. BFG KO2 and Falken Wildpeaks. The wildpeaks are quieter. I like them a lot.

Well I tried out the crawl mode this morning in soopy mud tracks. My stock tires are almost down to minimum allowable wear. I used the crawl mode and that is amazing! It slowly went through that crap nicely. I couldn’t get out of the existing tracks left by others as my tires have no side lugs but as long as I kept it going straight she kept pulling easily.

dude, I used it this morning on a very muddy country road with deep ruts. I was sliding and it felt as if I were to gun it I would be sliding off the side of the road into the brush line. I engaged the crawl mode on medium speed and she pulled right on through. My stock tires are almost gone but she got the grip she needed. pretty cool feature except on descents.

It does use ABS and wheelspeed sensors. I've found that it will cycle each wheel at least once before I have any forward movement. It also works in reverse.

Posting this a few places. Stock to 285/65/18 with 16+ cruiser 18’s

On our ‘14 we went the Nitto 275-55-20s. Haven’t tried them off road but my wife went through a torrential downpour and they did great. No hydro planing and firm grip. They are noticeably louder than the Michelin’s we had before.

Any more shots of this same vehicle? Same rims I just purchased and am interested in the BFGs.

just one, i can get more in the morning.

Thank you! Are you still happy with the ride and performance with these tires?
Yea been very happy. I run KO2's on my 4runner and plan to go with the Generals next time. KO2 is a great tire but these seem to be quieter and are wearing a little better. Have Wildpeaks on my 80 and they have been great too. Cant go wrong with any high quality tire.

Thanks. I had the KO2s years ago on a 3rd gen 4runner. I liked them on that vehicle. Tread life was excellent too, but the LX is a completely different animal. I have Michelin Defenders to use first, as they cam on the rims, and they're practically new. After that I'll make a decision...

Was asked to post these and i forgot; better late than never?! About 30k on these
