Accelerator pedal for an 82?

Anyone know of a bolt in replacement?

I read about folks using this one, but the only installations I saw were folks fabbing a new floor pan at the same time:

My pan's in good shape, so I'd like to avoid drilling new holes. Anyone know if the above one will work? Or any other suggestions.

i ended up just deleting this part and welding a little pad to the rod like later trucks have.
this is just a bad design.

Nope; I'll try that, but I'll bet they're all fubared like mine. Thanks for the idea.

Might need to do something like that. I'd leave how it is and just use the lever itself except it needs to be wife proof. (It is cool that she likes to drive it.)

That part almost fits, but the base needs to be cut and shifted to the right slightly to line up. Very simple to do if you have a welder. I certainly could have spent a little more time making it stronger, but it hasn’t failed yet and it only took 20min.
