It was great to finally meet her. Pretty Penny handled those hills with aplomb!

PICS!
Waiting for the rest of the gang to show up on Friday.
We cooked in the sun, then ganged up under Dugan's awning.

Hey, let me just get out of your way! This white hundy ended up having some t-case issues and had to head back to camp early.
There were a number of downed trees in the park that had not been cleared yet. Plenty of bypasses to get around though.

Heading down what we thought was a moderate trail, I see a tree across the trail and got out to see if I could move it or cut it with my pruning saw. As I got closer I realize there was a huge washout right below the tree with a 6 foot drop. No way were we going to ask the noobs in our group to attempt that.

But, I got stuck on a ledge of mud and rocks that I just couldn't back out of. After some musical chairs at the back of the line, Jessie and his K5 Blazer made his way down and tugged me back out.

This wasn't the recovery op, but the best pic I have of Jessie's rig on the trails (well at least until later. . .)

After a little siesta, some of us went back to find trouble. I had already deployed the awning on my rig, so I took up shotgun seat in @thatcabledude's 80.

Back at camp we all busted out our grills and chowed down. Then sat around the fire enjoying a few brews.
