Ah now its clear why you knew what the differences are in trannys! I had put the Downey Aux cooler on my four runner (same fittings) and the downey kit (not needed at all but they secommended it) came with 2 blue anodized fittings each (4 total) and they hasd some funny thread combos adapting to one another..... I know this doesnt help much but when trying different sizes beware they may fit at first and after about 2-3 turns it will bind up on you, uhmmm dont ask how I know

Glad you were able to work it out. I can't imagine dealing with all that little crap on a project like you have going on there.

It's all the little crap that really makes a project a "project."

Ryan--glad you were able to get the fitting sized. Apologies that I was not quick enough as I won't see the damaged tranny till Tuesday.

Thanks for the offer to help! I was able to get down to the shop sooner than I had thought. I was able to find a 20mmx1.5 to 10AN fitting so then I just needed a reducer to 8AN and everything worked out well. I was able to mock up the cooler and run the lines. I am one small step closer.
