If you go out again and want some company...

I would love to drive down from MD and go on a wagon run...

slowly pulling parts off of it. Hoping to get the bumper and sliders off next week. Probably be done that in the next two weeks. Need to get a winch to put in the bumper.

damn, wife's mother is getting married in Nebraska that weekend. Any others planned?

Not formally, but give me a shout when you'd like to go. I'm game for a local wheeling trip most anytime. :) I'm sure we could find at least a couple of others to go as well...... [cough].. ChrisDan? [cough]

Nice lookin truck. We have very similar tastes, you and I. I would be down for going on a run sometime after I get my desmog all worked out. On your desmog did you get your dizzy recurved afterwards?

Where are you going? If I ever get a hold of Jim C. and get my distributor re-curved I would love to come out.

Brian

GWNF and *possibly some private areas.

Even if your rig isn't ready, the group is going to do a James river float/fish in Scottsville, and of course camp out/cook out. 'Might consider coming along on the float with us if nothing else. We always like meeting cruiser guys. :)

That would be yours CFD, I see that it is custom, but surely there is something to be had out there like it....

Oh yeah. I think I will be down. I haven'y gotten a chance to test my locker out there. I've wheeled it many a time with no locker... I just want to see how much difference it makes.

both bumpers are my original design, copied pieces and parts from other bumpers, at least the aspects that i like and then just welded them up. designs changed along the way. So i don't have a model that i made them off to show you. just my messed mind. i built both of them for under $500.00 including the sliders. package cost of front and rear plus sliders by a company would be near $3000.00. they are not perfect, but they are well built and strong. i wish you luck if you search the bumper build threads there are some cruizer guys making stuff on the side that may be able to help you out. good luck

Cfdlighthouse, did I see you in Virginia Beach about a week ago?

nope, was'nt me. my truck has been down for about two weeks with a blown cooling hose that i have been too lazy to fix. one of the hard to get little ones coming off the water pump, the one i did not replace when i did the rest.

i used to live off 47th street years ago. went to FC left because of the traffic.....

Hmmm... I wonder if it was a MUD member then? Not too many 60's here that I've seen. Speaking of, are you (and the other guys on this post) Bay to Blue Ridge members?

At the time this trip took place none of us were as far as I know. Doesn't seem like they do much of anything as far as trails go. We should all get together and do a run sometime in the near future.
