Looks good fellas. I am just down the road in Richmond and would love to make a wheeling trip some time soon. Unfortuntely, I am bone stock with 235's.

Damn, that's some beautiful land. We're not too far from there up here in New York - if you guys decide you ever want to do a weekend of wheeling/camping there (you mentioned "property" - not sure if it's yours or a friend's, or whatever) I think you could probably get a good crew together.
just to add tech, i did discover one annoying thing on the trip. once the vacuum leaks were sealed up for the most part and i did not have to correct for the lean conditions, which means my carbs best lean idle specs are within redlines guidlines finnaly, now i have hard starting problems. the truck runs great once it gets going smooth through all gears with good accel. i am running strong at 60mph at 2100rpm can still accelerate beyond that and she will hold that speed on most grades calced the gas mileage at 13 set by my trusty GPS, my speedo is of 10 at 60, but if i turn the engine off it does not want to start. will crank five or six times then fire slowly with some help from the gas pedal once i hear the engine turn over.
any thoughts. timing set at 7dbtdc, idle 650, no smog egr pipes still connected to system.
Thanks.
oh scott and chris great shots!!
Great shots and looks like a great time. I can't wait to get out.
Is your carb fan running?
Looks like you had some beautiful trails to ride! Outstanding pics!
i have a weber progressive and its begining to irritate me. so no carb fan. just chasing the tuning. i don't mind a stumble or rough idle but the starting issue is trouble some when we were wheelin i left it running the whole two and a half hours because i almost didnt get it started again the first time i shut it off
So a Weber progressive is supposed to be immune to vapor lock?
Hey guys i am in tasmaina austraila love the views looks lke u have a lot of good wheeling ova there.who did the quarter cut on the blue rig looks good and would improve the departure angle on the rear witch i find is the biggest hold up with mine off the road cheers Darrren tassie
