I have a 1970 fj40 with a June bulid date. I am now going to try and finish my brake system.i have up graded to the willwood front disc about two years ago . I removed the valve in the master cylinder when I did that . Recently my brake booster has bit the dust.I ordered one from city racer and its being delivered today. So I would like to put the rear disc brake conversion n on while I have the system opened up. I have he 9mm brake fittings so I would need a adapter that goes from 9 millimeter to 10 millimeter .Is there any vendors on mud that's selling these? And any recommendations on who to buy the rear disc brakes?
Thanks for any help

Instead of looking for an adapter you can simply cut the bubble off the end of the hard line and replace the fitting with a 10mm one and re-flare the line. There are several vendors that sell GM caliper conversions but since you have Wilwood up front have you though about adding Wilwood in the rear?

Another choice on the fittings is to use McMaster-Carr "Yor-Lok fittings for 3/16" tube diameter (3/16" and your 3mm metric tubes are the same thing) that way you don't have to double flare, the fitting does it. Also, don't try to get this done properly without using a Proportioning Valve and 2 lb. Residual Valve. If you'd like to send me your snail mail address I'd be happy to send you a copy of the Downey Off Road Mfg. rear disc brake installation instruction manual (file moves to slowly for electronic transfer).
