How is your DVR still working out for you?

It still works 24/7, but since those cameras aren't even close to HD, I rarely ever upload the footage

The regular dash cams capture more usable footage....

Since you are always dabbling in this area, do you have a recommendation for a current DVR? Or, do you feel a front and rear window mounted one would be best/easiest?

The only mobile DVR's worthwhile nowadays are just way too expensive

I install some 16-20 channel HD DVR's on buses and they're amazing, but you'd be starting at around $2k and they're quite power hungry

Best bet would be individual/dual HD dash cams

Cheap, simple, low current draw and great quality for the money

In this video, I used a BlueSkySea Mini0906 (front/rear mount cameras) as well as a BlueSkySea B1W for the interior shot:



Works great, however, there's no night vision for the interior

So I have a BlueSkySea B2W (front/interior mount cameras) with night vision as seen in this video (I'm such a child lol):
