9MM adaptors for brake lines

If you replace the front steel brake line finding 9MM ends is hard to find. Autozone BLF 54B is not available but you can use a 9MM /1.0 to 3/8 /24 using 3/16 line. Ebay has bags of 4 adaptors for $8.90 plus tax.

I’d converted to 10 mm rather than imperial. That way the lines would all work with newer Toyota components.

No one makes a 9MM to 10 MM that I can find. Maybe 3/8 to 10MM, I hadn't thought about that.

So, update on the Brake Connect 3/16 9 mm x 1.0 fittings. I just received notification they arrive tomorrow, and are being directly shipped from the manufacturer.... Who is 10 miles away from my house, and who custom made lines for my old FJ55s Saginaw conversion.

So these fittings work, with some tweaking. There is a manufacturing flaw which stops the lines from fitting correctly.

I ran a correct sized drill bit through them and they fit perfectly.

I drove to the manufacturer today and informed them of the flaw. They are going through their stock and correcting them so from this time forward when ordering you should receive correct fittings. If not, it's a matter of running the correct size drill bit through them and they work just fine.
