I almost went higher on mine, debated trimming the tailgate, raising the frame rails, etc. In the end decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Overall this quarter panel/body mount chop gave me pretty good clearance for the amount of work involved. Good luck

Look how its about to get demolished by all those rocks. Only mere feet away

Despite the countless boulders wanting to dent my truck this wasn’t the trail that did it though. One of the lines near the start of the park did that.
Neat. Just wanted to get a sense of scale and general pinchyness. Pics never do anything justice. It looks bouldery but not tight?

If your not super familiar with the trail, it gets really tight near the top. You have to do a 180 degree turn, and every boulder is in the wrong place. They wanna eat every piece of metal that’s still straight haha

But correct more boulders than tight. Makes it fun in our huge trucks.

Also found a great deal on a Ham for the truck. Working on finding a place I like the antenna. Probably just put it on the roof. Made a quick mount to see if I liked it on the hood though. Think I decided to get rid of the stupid looking dual ditch mounts too and just going back to singles. Best use I have found is for camp lights. Duals really didn't ad much.

Where did you find the snow? Doesn't look like anywhere nearby...

I thought it looked like st elmo, but wasn't sure since ive never been there in the winter. go all the way up to tincup?

Been a bit since an update. Have started a new interior build. Ripped the old platform and sink out to start new again. This time I’m building it with an Alaska trip in mind. So I need to be able to live out of my truck for months on end. This is where interior build gen2 starts.

Plans:

• Bigger bed
• Fridge
• Heat
• Hot water
• More storage

Also plan to add:

• 200w solar
• Load bars with ski box
• Dual batteries
• 1000w inverter
• On board Battery maintainer/chager via 120v

Pictures incoming.

Did a trip a weekend or two ago. Was fun......Never started the truck with a 13 degree water temp before. Did just fine :hillbilly: Camped at like 12k ft above Keystone CO. Those nights where the ones that made me decide I wanted some sort of heater for the evenings and mornings. Would make it a lot more enjoyable when I'm just hanging out.
