I went out this morning to take the 4runner to the grocery store and when I got a couple blocks away the ABS light and Battery light lit up on the dash.
I turned around, took it home and parked it in the driveway. Figured maybe it was the battery since it is coming up on two years, been starting to crank over a bit slower lately and is still under warranty, so I traded it for a new one at the local auto part store. After replacing the battery the ABS light was still on and the battery light would flash intermittently. I noticed the battery light would stay on at idle but at 800 RPM's or above it would turn off. Anyways, I checked the ABS code to be #41. I put a paperclip on EC & T1 and removed the short pin in the data link connector. The ABS light flashed 4 times, paused, then flashed once.
I tried looking up the ABS Code 41 but wasn't having much luck.
Thought to check here to see if anyone else has come across this.
