Mine runs about the same with 20-50 high mileage Castro oil. 280k miles.
And very well maintained

During the baseline I removed the pressure regulating valve and cleaned it in a sonic cleaner. Not sure if this contributed but that is the lubrication maintenance I did then.

he removed it just to inspect / clean i understand

If you remove it completely and pressure just continues to rise then oil will push past seals etc where its not meant to - not a good thing

Not a mod, it’s just a spring and piston. I removed and cleaned of any oil varnish so it operated as new.

just out of interest the two gauges, where did you connect their feed signals to? do they pickup from the OEM senders or other?

Mechanical gauges, oil from oil pressure port on rh side, feed before OEM sensor. Water from the the gauge supplied probe drilled and tapped in the top coolant pipe out of engine.
