Ran into this beauty today. Stalked for a while waiting for the owner to come out. We had a nice chat. Nice guy.

Clean 40th, only 118k and it looks like it was garaged it’s whole life.

Dang pretty sweet. Low miles! Barely broke in! Original owner? How much did you offer for it!
He said his buy it now price was $45K which was “much less than he paid for it”. He said it was owned by one of his dad’s customers. She traded it into Toyota and they ended up keeping it for a while, before this dude swept it up. So officially, only two owners? Not sure. I bet he could get $45 on BaT. The interior looked flawless too.

New addition to the herd. No, not a cruiser, but similarly, a stout workhorse. I bought it used out of Danville, Kentucky with only 67hrs. Was garaged its whole life, since 2012. Time for it to go to work.

Next week the white cruiser goes down for knuckles, brakes, and valve adjustment. Let’s see how long I can procrastinate for.

The green cruiser just hit 220k. Woof, gotta clean that combination meter cover. She’s running extremely well.

Good day folks,
I posted in my other thread that I’ll be taking a couple of my cruisers to get the dry ice and undercoating treatment. Merritt Motors out of Kannapolis, NC will be preserving two of my cruisers and another of my buddy’s.

We will depart tomorrow at 0700 and pick them up in about a week. I’ll get before/after sand report back.

Also, sold my 2021 F350 with the 6.7 and instead bought my first Chevy. It’s a 2009 Silverado 2500hd 6.0 gas engine. Only 34k miles and one owner, who sadly passed in October. I do miss the diesel power, but I love this new Chevy. She’s fun to drive!

Also, traded on the old Big Tex for the diamond c DEC 207. I used my Big Tex 14EE 20ft to transport my cruiser and skid steer and handful of other heavy items. I will say, it’s great. But needed something heavier duty for my skid steer. So in with the new and out with the old.

I’ll report back on the dry ice stuff, I’m excited for this!

This stuff is very thin; I specifically asked about the buildup and he was confident this film is so thin, it won’t affect wrenching.
Stuff looks like plastic-dip, and feels similar, but it’s harder once it cures.

This OBS Ford F350 7.3 is badass. The corrosion you see here has a wax film over it to seal and prevent further spread.

I’m getting caught up here. You swapped a diesel power house for a gasser that devours fuel and provides less??????

I had the same thoughts. Plus friends don't let friends drive Chevy's 😂

I do like the simplicity of it. and it was half the cost of the Diesel power house am sure.

Yep. No ragrets, either. The gasser is paid off and pulls everything I need and more. Also, I love the basic work truck. It has vinyl floors and seats. The KR 6.7 was undoubtedly so much more, and I do miss that power. I don’t miss the DEF and all the bells and whistles.

Also, picked this up the other day…thanks to Steve and my wife. Maybe they’re both the same people? Lmao

It’s the Stihl MS500i w/ 25” bar. It rips. The little guy next to it is the Echo CS400. Not a bad saw with an 18” bar. Works very well. Now I have to get back to sawing and swinging an axe.

The only fuel injected chainsaw made. Glad to see you got it.

Good evening…I don’t have my cruisers back yet, but here are a few pics of mine and my bro’s rides.

My bro’s: his is on the rack as of today and being cleaned. Long way to go. I think he picked up his rig in Michigan. It’s a bit rusty in some places but looks decent overall.

Looking good

I’m hoping to get more pictures from him. Specifically the before and during the ice blasting. More to come.

Not sure, Rich. It is the newly painted green one. I had plenty of major discrepancies after the paint job, so I wouldn’t be surprised.

I’ll believe this when I see it.

Good day mud. Picked up my cruisers about a week ago and now getting around to posting pictures post dry ice remediation and coating.

This coating is very low build, and doesn’t affect tools fitting properly (haven’t confirmed it myself). Looks low build enough but not sure if I will have issues fitting a socket on a bolt head yet. I’ll provide a better review once I have some wrench time.

Overall, my green cruiser ended up needing 8.5hrs and the white one needed 8hrs despite the white one being worse in my opinion.
Additionally, this green cruiser spent time in WA, CA, and NV before coming to me in HI and eventually TN.
