I have a 1991 Landcruiser, that I have done a bunch of work too. I have rebuilt the engine with a HO version and removed the CAT and installed a new tailpipe and muffler. The engine seems to be running well but I am getting 10 or less MPG. My question is do I need to have the engine management system remapped? Exhaust gasses analyzed etc to take into account the changes I have made to the engine from stock?

My 91 gets about 14 MPG. Not much different than what you are experiencing and that difference could easily be driving habits and location.

I get 15-16 mpg pretty regularly with mine. I don't have many (substitute "any" depending on your definition of "highway") highways around here either, and most of the drives are on/off the gas and up hills.

However, as of now, I am getting 10-11 :frown: --leaking injectors.

yeah mine got also leaking injectors.

Is there any way of rebuliding, checking, servicing the injectors of 3FE?

Yes,

RC engineering is a company that will rebuild and "re-tune" the injectors. If your injectors are fine and need a good cleaning then just purchase the o-rings, spacers, and cups from Toyota. Its a farily simple job, albeit time consuming. Let me know if you would like all of the necessary part numbers for the job, and I'll round them up tonight, and post them. I have them (parts) all laid out and ready for the weekend fun! :D

Think Injectors are ok

The injectors where inspected during rebuild and pronounced ok. My main concern is the injection mapping etc with a different cam and exhaust system. Does the mapping need to be tweaked for the changed to the engine?
