I'm in for both the ashtray and sub plate. The subplate can be blank. I can Dremel out what I need.

I suggest you add this driver to your tool lot. Fits in very tight areas and makes dealing with some fasteners way easier!I just need to figure out the thread size and pitch and I can put a threaded heat insert into the bracket so it's nice and strong. It'll need to be thicker as well, but that's easy to model.
This is a great idea! A blank would be pretty straight forward.
I planned on doing this, actually. Just not quite there yet.
Definitely. I planned on making a few variants and ones with square switch holes were at the top of my list.
So, my original design actually mounted to the bottom two screw holes/mounts as well, but once I tried to install it, I found it impossible to get any kind of screwdriver in there to screw it down. For the ram ball, I might be able to do something different to make this work, but I'll have to get something designed and start testing it first before I'll know 100%.
That's a great idea and would be pretty easy to implement.
Thanks for all the ideas, everyone. I'll post here when I have any updates.
Not yet, still having a holiday hangover haha. I'm hoping to have something next month and will post the update here.Any updates with this? You ever set up that new printer that can use ABS? Would like to buy the accessory panel for the stock subwoofer enclosure.
Thanks for the update. Will it be possible to incorporate an air compressor fitting opening into that sub enclosure panel? It would just have to be a small hole in the right size. Not yet, still having a holiday hangover haha. I'm hoping to have something next month and will post the update here.
I decided to print in PETG instead of abs due to the toxic fumes of abs and the fact that it needs a temp controlled enclosure. PETG does great for interior parts and is solid.
BTW, the subwoofer bracket will have heat-threaded inserts and come with stainless hardware to mount it (if I didn't mention that already).

Here's a good example of the ARB fitting (or similar coupler) mounted to a flat surface.
I have the compressor switch mounted on my center console already.
Yeah they should all be standard. Wits End sells a bunch of different metal brackets to secure an air fitting where ever you want. I bought all of them and they all have the same size hole.Ok, it looks like the fitting might be a bit more expensive than I anticipated. If you can get the measurements of the bracket hole where it mounts, that will work. EDIT: Nevermind... it all looks pretty standard for air fittings after doing more searching!
