Hi all,

Newb to these forums, I hear they're the place to go for Landcruiser tech.

Here's my question:

Are there, or are there not, certain models of Landcruisers that had 9 or 9.5" ring gears?

...prolly have more luck with a meaningfull response if you posted in one or more of the Land Cruiser sections instead of the Toyota Truck Tech.

That's why I asked here, I have no idea which ones would have had them....:frown:

8" high oinion on the 80's, not sure about 60's or 40's. one of the other cruiser forums should know, maybee ask the 60 guys

Front diffs till 90 are essentially the same as the rear. (asside from semi float vs. full float differences)

No, 8.8 or 9.5 or what ever. It was with the introduction of the 80 series in 90 that they went to a smaller front diff.

the 40s/50s/60s/BJ&HDJ70s front have all 9,5" diffs, so all most every cruiser...

this is not rocket science, read a little and check the different series techs... then you wont have to ask so much and looking to say the least lazy! Good thing this is not pirate... ;)

Sorry...Yeah I can't but take a shortcut every once in a while...trust me, I've done plenty of research for my plans already...:D

I cant beleive this has gone on for 20 posts on a "landcruiser board"

9.5" rears in all of em, and 9.5 fronts in all of em, except the 80. That had a HP 8"

As far as I know....:grinpimp:
