89-95 pickup plate style rear bumpers from Curleys Race Cars

I just wanted to post up some info for the 89-95 pickup guys.. I just bought one of Curleys Racecars plate style rear bumpers for my truck and its freaking sweet! Kyle the owner of the company was great to work with, the bumper is 100% top notch and was over packed and shipped from coast to coast for me! Here is a link to the Yotatech page that I found them on, Ill put up some pictures of mine once I get it painted and installed, hopefully tomorrow I know he has a few left, I paid around $300 shipped for mine and could not be happier!!

That looks pretty sweet. Not a bad idea at all if someone is wanting to put on a rear bumper. If I had seen something like that, I probably would have bought that instead of making mine.

That's a nice looking bumper, but what do you do about the license plate? Just curious. You can't exactly just screw it to the tailgate.

If you look closely, you can see 2 holes drilled in the bumper. I would guess those are for mounting the plate. I'll let you know after I get mine!

Plate Lights

I had Kyle make my bumper without the hitch hole, you cant even tell it was filled and ground! The bumpers are not drilled for plates so you can put it on either side. I ordered a set of Plate Lights, they are stainless steel plate bolts with built in LED lights, pretty slick.. Check them out!

first pictures of mine on my 88

Here are some pics on my 88... I hit a few snags with my trailer hitch and the fiberglass bed, its a lot thicker than a steel bed so I had to really work the bumper into place and trim is in a few spots to make it fit but its on there and solid as a rock! I just got the tag mounted up with a new tag frame and the plate lights, having it centered above my hitch and dropped down a little made my new bumper look a lot better than it does in the pictures! Ill get some better pictures in the daylight once I give the bumpter a top coat of paint, right now its got 2 coats of satin black but the paint was only a day old and I beat it up installing it today... I also have a NOS Toyota tail gate Im getting ready to paint and install, thats the only thing on my truck that is rusty Thanks again Kyle!! ~Matt
