I bought a 1988 pickup with the 22re and I have been working on getting the engine, tranny, and gas tank switched over to my 1981 pickup. Long story short, I have gotten the engine ready to fire, and when I turn the key, nothing happens. The lights work, but I just can't figure out why it won't crank.
Could it be ground related? I've checked all of them and they seem to be good, but lets just double check I have them correct:
Engine bay:
-Battery negative to engine block
-Engine block to firewall
-Alternator ground from harness to p/s bracket
-Wiring from intake manifold to intake manifold ground
-Harness near fuse block to fender
Cab:
-Steering wheel column to body, not sure if this is correct or not
-Harness near fuse block to body
-Unknown ground from harness to body
Does anyone think it could be anything else besides the grounds?
