How do I repair my 82 Toyota 4WD with a sloppy shift lever?

I would first replace the shifter seat and bushing. Marlin has some good options.

Thanks for the info. I'll try to find Marlins site, haven't been there before. Hope getting the shifter out is fairly obvious.
