This will be a boring build/resto thread. I have an 82 BJ42 that I rarely use these days. I was trying to sell it but it's just too rusty as-is and I don't want to give it away.

This thread is to document the stuff I'm going to it to get it ready for an eventual sale. I finally have some time and garage space available to get going on it.

Turns out the rust is a lot worse than I realized, but not too horrible. Certainly fixable. Thankfully I have some metal parts I planned to use on my HJ45 Troopy that will now redirected to the BJ42. First task is to get prepped for a rear sill and rear corner metal.

I'm happy the window frame and cowl is in good shape.

Glad you didn't give up on that diamond on the rough. Subd

Glad you're saving this one. Looking forward to the progress!

Now winter is ending in MSP MN and I want to recap on my BJ73 project. Have you made any decision on the 3B Engine?
I want to buy it complete as the current installed Engine is the VM HR588 and is useless.
