80 series toy truck (Road Cruiser)

I found an old box of cars/truck and found this:

I remember having it, but never realized it was an 80 series. This was before I was even interested in 80's.

Good luck, I couldn't find one with a quick search on eBay.. But I did find a $330 40 Series RC car. A bit too rich for my wallet.

Not sure if the rear tire will come off. I have a couple 100 series rc cars that are the same way; monster truck tires and a stock looking spare.

I have no idea where I even got this and I've never seen one like it.

What you can't see in these pictures is the coil sprung suspension and clear sunroof 'glass'.

What you can see is that I need to vacuum up all the dog hair.

The springs don't look like they are sagging too bad after all these years

Does it have lockers?

The springs are some Japanese after market 12" (scale), so they're not stock. ;p

I believe it either has a spool or welded diffs in some kind of heavily modified tractor or military axles. It's locked full time.

Nice find. The rear ladder looks a lot like the one on my rig. Is that a JDM front bumper? lol!

Looks like a TJM, even though there are ARB stickers on the rear quarters.
