I will work on a complete DIY kit price, for a complete storage ready to install is $450 plus shipping.

Would like to see both the DIY and total package price. I want one though.

All PM's replied to, I will post a complete DIY kit price in the morning.

I have a solution for the guys that can't weld, I will use all cap head screws to attach the lid and hinge. The cap is 4mm thick, I will cut into the lid about 2mm, the cap will protrude from the lid roughly 2mm. It will look like this.

I need some feed back, let me know if you want this option or complete counter sink and welded hinge. Remember if you are buying the kit, you need to weld it.

Will the DIY kit come pre-drilled? I don't have a tig welder and would end up doing something similar with the hinge myself.

Ouch, how did that happen.

Hi

I just tried to send you guys a PM but something seemed off with the mobile site.

I'm local and would like to buy a kit. Please let me know next steps.

Thanks

I'm interested as well. I don't have access to a machine to weld aluminum, so I like the bolted hinge design. Please PM me when you are ready to make another batch. Thanks

Fellas, I may have to push the deadline back a week due to latch availability. I will keep the thread posted :)

If hardware come in next week, I should be able to get them out next Monday.

Got the lid, thanks buddy! Will post up pics once I'm done, might be a while since I picked up another '96 and this might be going on that soon.
