I thought I've heard 80 series stock springs can be used to lift a 4R or Taco. I couldn't find anything on the search, would anyone mind clarifying this for me? Thanks.
Not a Tacoma. The 80 series front springs can be used to lift the rear of a 3rd gen 4runner. 80 series rear springs can be used to lift the rear of a 2nd gen 4runner. On a third gen with no rear weight, they lift over 3", more if you have 9 wrap vs 8 wrap.
I had them on my 4runner but the lift was too high for my needs so they got replaced with OME 4Runner coils. Pretty soft ride on a 4Runner, almost too soft.
