1997 LX450 (triple locked)
-197k

just did a ton of maintenance on it using all Toyota/Lexus factory parts.

-OME heavy/heavy lift with shocks and steering stabilizer
-MetalTech 1.5" spring spacers
-Man-A-Fre control arm drop brackets
-MetalTech sliders
-Slee shortbus front bumper
-12k winch with synthetic line
-315/75/16 tires
-Pioneer Bluetooth stereo
-Weathertech front and rear floor mats


All of this work/mods was done within the last year. I have thousands and thousands of dollars in receipts.

Located near Flora, MS

Will leave it on here a few days before she goes to Evilbay. Attached is a pic from a few months ago. It now has the MetalTech sliders.

$13k. title in hand.

I saw that one. Interior is very nice as is the body but there is rust showing under the hood and the frame and axles have been sprayed to hide the rust.
 
I want to know where it came from. 97 with no sunroof, solid rear windows, cloth interior, no flares, steel wheels.... That is a straight poverty pack 80 if there ever was one. I've never seen one that vintage with so few frills. Heck it just needs manual hubs and a diesel and I swear it was an import.

Yeah, I see it when I make my rounds as well. If any of you guys are interested, I could probably see if I could get by and see it in person and report. Judging from the ad, he is slowly parting little stuff off of it since it isn't moving. If it is put together well then it isn't a bad price, I have seen 12v motors alone go for close to that under the right circumstances, so I am sure the value is there, the whole unfinished project part of it is a bit of a Pandora's box as you never know what you might find once you open it up.

I am also curious about the fuel tank and drive-shaft situation, states it has a NP 208 case with the stock rear axle so how did he address the tank issue and does the rear shaft now have angle in two planes instead of one.

If I had the time right now, it would check off a couple of boxes in my world, but don't have time to pick up another project right now.
 
In the market for a straight hood for an 80. Preferably green with decent paint. Hail storm last week in Big D got the 80.

Maybe. But the hood needs paint anyway as does the roof. I'm hoping to find a good hood and save the money for the other body work i need.

Have 7 or eight LX wheels, 5 are in excellent shape, the others have a little pint bubbling in the D's $600 for all, I paid $150 plus the ride for the one pictured in the box
