Wondering if anyone has come up with a better skid plate than the OEM. my tank needs a beater skid plate.

Major throw back to Red Stripe commercials from 2006 era.
Did you replace the Nitrile Elastomer Fuel Pump Isolator (shock buffer between the brass mount and pump seen between the Red Stripe and the Fuel Inlet Sock)?
Is the Fuel Pump Isolator listed as 5 23249-74150 rubber, cus 1 in your parts list?
Is there a Walbro pump that is a replacement and uses the same mount?
