Update:

Travelled for a week. 2-3 oz of mmo down each jug last Tuesday, shop rag in each hole. Pulled shop rags and turned over, no fluid out so i imagine its all seeped into crankcase. Shot more mmo down jugs. Doing compression check w/in next few days. Will put new oe plugs back in and new coil, then fire. 🤞🏻

If to no avail; putting spare 3FE with 60k I have in stock and rebuild original.
Update:
Low compression 4 cylinders. 55 psi. Outside pouring boiling brake fluid down the cylinders like we did on the farm on Ford 9n's,I'm pulling the engine. Thx for all the support. Owned (and still do) several Landcruiser's 1F-3FE, Not knowing a lot of history on this stock engine In this old gal she had a good run to 265k. I have a spare 3FE with 60k on the clock. Prepping engine for install with gaskets. Rear main, etc. Will send pictures. Ty @jonheld for all your input. So passionate. Been on this site as long as you, maybe longer, you probably know more than I do, as always. Pictures to come. #FDT #TLC4LIFE

I'll say it louder for those in the back:
"If the distributor pick up coils or the ignition coil or the igniter were an issue, there would be no/weak spark.
You would also be getting error codes (12, 13, or 14). You said you were getting good strong spark and no codes. Move on."

Spark is developed from the distributor pick up coils which are fed to the ECU and are retimed according to sensor inputs.
The ECU then feeds pulses to the igniter.
The igniter feeds the primary of the ignition coil.
The ignition coil secondary feeds the distributor rotor.

Everything mentioned above MUST BE WORKING to develop spark. MOVE ON.

At this point you have spark, fuel and compression. This engine should run.
********At any point did you remove the distributor********

I'd lay odds that your ignition timing is 180 out.
I’ve got a question for either of you . I broke the connection from ecu pigtail to distributor pigtail . Which colors go to which . Example white to ? Yellow to ? and red to? . I know there is a green /faint white , green /black and green/red . Just can’t determine which goes to which .

Go to the resources section at the top of the page and download the electrical wiring manual. It’s got everything marked and color coded. Worth its weight in gold.
