Now that the split case has a 4:1 gear set this idea got real interesting ..

I've been following the image posts on Facebook , whats the plan and who's it for?

Thanks for the post that would be a sweet setup, I've often thought of moving the gas tank to the rear spare tire area to accomidate a crawler of some variation but that 4:1 gear set would certainly solve my needs

Has anyone seen the regular lever action slide rails for the 80 seats? I want to convert them from power to the old fashion lever and slide. I've replaced the gears 3 times and I keep tearing them up I do move the seats alot when camping and hauling and would rather swap them to maual rather than pull them out again to replace the gears, I think I saw MOT here on Mud post something about the Japan issue manual slides. If you run into anything please pass it along I'm ready to order before it becomes an issue next outing. Thanks

I've been crazy busy and just seeing this thread you all are rocking it hard thats a kick-@ss build you all are doing I see something like that for my 80 down the road may sport it with the a chop top behind the rear doors with a truck bed first once the boy and I outgrow it for camping. Will be following the progress

Nice, like the reverse lights too did you get them from the same guy? Would like some for the Dodge and 80 can't see the regular ones out of the tinted windows.

Sweet scott! The red map lights reminds me of the red lights in the huey helicopter carrying arrrrnold in Predator..

Nice. I had changed over a bunch of the lights in and out of the FJC with LED's a long time ago and love them. Bright as day inside the truck.

Did some looking here in mud and a few other forums and went to eBay for everything.

These are the "best" 2 sets of reverse lights I could find. BIG LED and a HUGE lens.

Ignition timing for the 4500cc petrol motor

I noticed an increase in power and about 1-1.5mpg increase (12.5 average to 13.5-14avg)

FYI with the timing bump will need to go to premium but that is what they are supposed to use actually
