Sounds good bud we'll discuss a weekend to make it happen and stamp it, and I certainly will on the 80![]()
Scott this is what I was telling you about yesterday.

That is a great thread.
In the cottonland section I have a "80 V8 swap link" thread that should have most of the v8 swaps on Ih8mud. One of the club members is itching for a V8 in his 80...

... The Sprinter I6 would be a better platform.
Absolutely agree... However, I would be willing to bet it's a
job
That's my favorite color Larry!
Mine as well its best looking model out of the 7 year run IMO![]()
If I could set one a side for later I'd love a 40th like this.

Everyone always asks me if the 40 on the side of my truck is a ghetto thing, like a 40 oz beer or something.
I prefer the color of my black one (Vader). To each his own......
Thats a pretty Ghetto thing to askthey were putting those 40th emblems before ghetto rims were the things to have. I didn't know vader was a 40th, I thought the 40th models only came in the silver and beige color. I know your turbo'd 80 is a 40th too. Also didn't the 97 special edition only come in white at least thats the only color I've ever seen one in.
I've been trying to get my hands on one of the 50th Anniversary books for over a year and should cover that if I ever get one. "The Land Cruiser: Special Issue of 50th Anniversary, 1951-2001"
