Thanks guys, no need for an intercooler on this one :)

New high intensity lights going in, these are the low/high beam lamps. High beam lamps are also new high intensity. A new light harness is also being used drawing power directly from the battery and using the stock harness to trigger the relays.

Lokar shifter, adjustable stick position for and aft, side to side as well. Cable linkage. Plan on getting extra 5/16" hardware as the hardware included assumes installation on single sheet perfectly flat sheet metal. Very nice piece of equipment.

The first photo shows all the parts required to make the LED shift indicator work. 2nd photo shows the sensor housing mounted on the passenger side of the trans. The cable comes out the back of the sensor, around the back of the trans to the shift lever on the driver's side in the 3rd photo The really fun part starts tomorrow, doing all the electrical hook ups ( 16 of them ) and then a 14 step calibration process. DAMN

Man - that's a lot of work to change gears :D Nice looking work, per usual Stan.

 R

Thanks Ramon, the shifter I am all in with. Very well made equipment, highly adjustable, I'd put one in my own truck.

The LED shift indicator light set up, not so much. $253.00 for the kit and far too complicated for what it is. It is ginchy and cool for sure and my customer likes it and that is a good thing.

Intake installed. I retain the OEM air box and filter. The filter is HUGE with acres of filter surface and will flow air long after the conical style filters clog.

Stan, do the clamps on the sides of the OEM air box maintain a good enough seal by themselves? On my 80, they were good, but on my 73, they really do not cut it. The center bolt / nut is required to ensure a good seal on the top and bottom of the air filter.

The clamps are very tight on the air box. Can you manipulate them enough for them to tighten up?

In my case, the spring steel pieces are a little sprung. These small parts were never sold by Toyota and the air boxes are basically unobtanium. I'll work on something, but for now, the threaded rod and wingnut are working combined with new air filter gaskets.

Hijack off .....

Well, I lied about the hijack ;) Al, I think the little clips are the same as on the 80 series cannister ... note the word think. Perhaps we can compare at the November meetup or at the Christmas party.

Fuel supply and return lines, note lines are clamped to firewall just behind intake in center of pic

Bottom of radiator and shroud. Note clip on radiator to hold trans cooler hose. Blue fittings are -6AN for trans lines

Man, talk about doing it right. Please don't ever look at my fuel lines Stan (generic hose and clamps). I plan to upgrade the fuel system someday, but just trying to get her running for now without spending any more money than I have already.

Looks AWESOME!

Thanks Ramon, I got a good chuckle with the "please don't ever look at my fuel lines Stan" comment, than you.

Gotta love wiring, everything is terminated an labeled. All set up so it can unplug and dash can be pulled

Looks good Stan!

Thanks Sam, I have had my fill of wiring for a while. On top of all the swap stuff i had to make a new harness for the fog lights and the horns from scratch. I still have to complete the hookup and calibration of the LED shift indicator system. 14 steps to hook it up and another 16 steps to calibrate it. OY
