A little better video of the finished job under the Cruiser.

Working the bed right now, I put some 400g on the DA sander and it’s not so prone to strip the paint. Saves me scuffing labor!

All the Dakota Digital sensors have been fitted to the FTE.

Here is our in house built wiring harnesses for the FTE and trans/tcase. ALL the wires match Toyota coloring for easy reference in the future via a factory EWD. 🤩

Additional modules to mount are for cruise control and the Unichip. Don’t know if we are doing a SwitchPro yet, probably will.

Prepping for a weekend on my Cruiser so put the body all the way up out of my way. The seam sealer and top coat under it has now had a few days to cure.

Wow man, really nice! 🤩

The body mounts on the firewall are notorious on Cruisers to rot out. Well sealed up now from the outside on this Cruiser!

We have not gone to this extent yet with a seam sealer under a Cruiser. We have done several varieties of bed line under a Cruiser. What I know of bed liner is; your DIY products like Raptor liner that are two part and tintable are ok, especially for the DIY person. When you get into commercial bed liners like Line-X it’s more or less the same product just applied hot vs ambient temps. This is superior for bed liner.

I like a “softer” bed liner and from my experience that is Line-X. I like this better though, it is looking sooooo good! This is a 3M sprayable seam sealer which is over $40 a tube. We used 20 tubes to do the job. I think I am going to do this to both of my 80-series now, I have not seen a better way to seal up the underside of a Cruiser yet be it from rock chips or corrosion.

Holy smokes what an outstanding build! Your attention to detail is incredible. Can’t wait to see the finished product!

Man I am super happy with that! Excellent coverage, excellent adhesion, not bad anywhere with overspray and I know it is really good products we used. All the hard work and prep pays off! 😎🤙
