79 FJ55

Last year I picked up a 79 FJ55 stock 2F with PS. I just started working on it this week and have ran into a few frustrating blocks. Firstly is the vacuum system, the carb looks something like a Medusa with multiple vacuum lines. Most of the lines are not connected, blocked off, or missing. I have passively looked for some type of diagram but have had little success. Is there a diagram out there? Additionally having some issues finding a correct diagram of my distributor. I have not spent a lot of time on the distributor, asking the local parts shop resulted in the usual unhelpful comments. I suspect this has been asked so forgive my naivety. Thanks

That is awesome of you to post, but the 2nd diagram is labeled for a '77 CA system.
I know for my '78 40, there were three options: Federal, High-Altitude, and California.
Not sure if they had those 3 specs for 1979 model year, but I would encourage @mwiskow to get an emissions manual for 1979, either from Toyota direct, or SOR.

Congratulations on your find! I would love to see some pics of your 1979! Not many of those out there...
