78 Series troop carrier as a doner...

Can anyone tell me if a 78 Series Troop carrier could work as a doner car for an 84FJ45 build? There is a 78 series accident damaged coming up on auction. Will the axles work or will they be too wide?

You could google the vehicle specs
And look at the track width difference

biggest problem youve got @ZimFJ45 is that the front of a 78 is coil springs. the front axle wont really be able to be used unless your willing to do A LOT of cutting and engineering. trust me, looked at this locally in zim. its not really the best way to go. what do you ultimately want to do in your build?
