Plans have changed and the family pressure is on to make some room in the garage so it's with great sadness that I put my 77 FJ40 up for sale.
Gorgeous frame on it with very little rust. (I'd say no rust at all but I'm sure there's a tiny bit I haven't seen.)
The body is decent although the PO did some body work on the rockers that won't win any awards but it's not bad. Diamond plate rear quarters but the metal doesn't appear to be rotted through underneath. Paint is a home job done by the PO that looks pretty bad up close but it's great for a trail rig.
2F engine with unknown miles on it. Runs well, smokes a bit at start-up.
Brand new, freshly install Pertronix ignition and Flame Thrower coil.
Mini-truck power steering.
Rear lockrite
4 Brand new 35" MTR's
4" springs, brand unknown
Shackle reversal
Seals and gaskets and one bearing (can't remember which one) replaced in tranny and transfercase last summer.
Front hubs rebuilt 2 years ago
Kayline soft top in good shape. One small tear but easily fixable.

The truck passed an Alberta Out of Province inspection last year and as far as I know has no issues other than the smoke at start-up and a small leak from the speedo cable and maybe from the line that connects the tranny and transfercase fill plugs. (didn't remove after fixing the seal).
Asking $5500 OBO and it's in my garage if anyone wants to look at it. Post up or PM if interested.
