which cargo window rubber are you planning?

Any ideas on how you're gonna tackle the rear window weather strip? When you do, will you report back with part numbers and how it worked for you?

Thanks

Sure, I'm torn between the McCabe reproduction (if available) and slocruisers cargo rubber. I may end up just going with slocruisers because I have to buy so many more parts from him anyway for the tailgate. Right now in going to focus on the windshield and cargo windows with the headliner, then start tackling the doors one by one, and finish at the tailgate. I have all the exploded diagrams for the 55 with part numbers and some things are still available believe it or not (even some tailgate rubber). I need to call village Toyota and confirm some of their stock availability but they do show in stock online. It's going to be a slow process but I'm focusing on one area at a time. I'm having a good upholstery friend that helped me with some 40 oem soft doors help with the headliner and rubber stuff.

Would you mind posting these diagrams when you have some time?

Sure Pablo, I need to get them out this weekend and start doing some work. Will do my best to get some clear photos posted of the diagrams.

Here's one sheet that I had w my old 40 stuff. Maybe if you open it big you can read all the part numbers??

Checking in on you! Pig is looking great! Those repair sheets with part numbers are cool, maybe you can scan them as PDFs? Did you ever get the rear window working?

Whoa! These are a gold mine! Thank you!
Did you say you had one that showed all the inner door parts and their numbers?
Thank you...

I think these are all I have, but maybe they are hiding somewhere I will look again...

Yeah that's an antenna hole, the antenna I have has a round mount like that..not sure if it's aftermarket or what but this was a 'factory installed' AC model so it could have had it as an option? On one of those sheets there's an antenna with part numbers..I've never see this type before on 40s or 55s, it has a 2-3" long spring really close to the round mount post, pretty cool
Thanks Pablo, you ever go through any of that rubber you had left over?

Oh darn, no. From memory I know I have surplus whisker strip that I originally bought for inside and outside, and then only used for inside window wiper. I think I bought in 6' strips. I also remember surplus bulb seal for the sides of the tailgate opening. I may have surplus rubber for bottom of tailgate opening.
I will be off for a few days over Christmas, I can try to dig through my stuff.
What do you need/want?

I will take any and all you have that you don't need. I have to start getting body parts back on here at the first of the year and will def need that bulb seal for tailgate bottom and sides..and then to the windows. If you need any funds for it, lemme know. I also have a ton of extra dash and interior stuff

Nice! What did you use for OEM pewter?

Well these are my notes, but I need to look on the can to refresh my memory..I just took these notes to the paint supplier and the first sample looked right. I'll double check on the exact one I went with, but here's my notes:

T1434 grey metallic Toyota code

DuPont N8220A Ash Grey metallic 145 or 143
