im listing for a friend, so I’ll forward any questions to him or better yet call or text him, he’s a great guy. Anyway it’s a rust free 73 fj40 that’s got a new 4.3 V-6 vortec mated to a cruiser 4 spd. Has Saginaw steering conversion , front shackle reversal ( handling kit) front and rear disk brakes, new headliner and working AC. He has new seats and seat belts from cool cruisers, new MT tires and 15” MT wheels. New exhaust ,wiring harness and he used all stainless bolts . Driveshafts have been retubed and balanced. Frame ,core support, grill , and seat brackets are all powder coated. Inside of tub was rhino lined. You are correct, for attaching a soft top. During this time period both hard top models and soft top models had the footman loops in the back corners. This one has barn doors so a hard top model from the factory.
