Alright, I'm not totally familiar with all of the different 70 models, but I ran across a photo, and THIS is what I want.

What model is it, can it be had in LHD, and how long do I have to wait until it's legal to own it in the US? @beno?

Finding one not hammered will be hard but 1FZ and 5 speed

Definitely like the 4-door wagon, and the more rounded 80-ish look is cool.

Is that it? A 77 is what I've had my eye on for a while, but the one above looks shorter and rounder than the one in your link. I guess it's the lift, tires, and fender flares that make it look different.......guess it's gotta be the same truck. Doubtful they'd make two models that close in appearance.....................

These can be found in Central America and some parts if Europe, for know the only engine option is a 2LT.In a few years same model with the better 1KZ engine can be imported.

No if you would have said 1UZ I would have partially agreed with you but after owning several 1FZ’s I still don’t understand what the fuzz is about! The 1HDT 80’s are way more fun then the soccer mom versions

I pretty much think the coveted 80 series is the most boring Cruiser of all, however the 1FZ (212 hp that feels like 174 hp) in that small Cruiser with a h151 and a part time transfer would be hella bitchin.

And it would not stink.

Then you will have to wait out for the medium duty iterations vs the HZJ7X versions which have front and rear leaves.

Yes! I've ridden in one of those I believe in Germany back in 03 I think, awesome truck. I'd like to get my hands on one of those myself one of these days.

Yes Prado is the light duty.

No L motor.

I have no issues what I will do with it light is more than enough. I have nothing to prove. I need to to haul my fat ass.....oz tent....gallon of 4 Roses....4 gallons of tea and an ARB fridge full of meat and I am A OK!
