Spent some time yesterday bolting up the freshly built front disc and 2.5" OME lift springs w/shackles. Gotta build the rear housing and install next week.

Got the exhaust done, brake lines almost completely plumbed, both masters installed, and working on column mock-up and pwr steering shaft. Getting ready to bolt in the wiper motor and and fresh air vent. I went to test the wiper motor before install, but no cigar. Any LV guys out there that have any ideas?

Made more progress this week, with cleaning up front frame, installing new p/s gear box and mocked up steering linkage. Brake and Clutch masters in with lines, and re-installed the fresh air vent assembly. Cleaned and greased up, operates pretty smooth now. Gas pedal and trans hump in. Had to custom fit a 40 hump as the floors a bit different and 2 holes are different. But some shaving, grinding and persuasion she mounts right in now. Going to tear into the wiper motor next week, likley a bad ground or dirty brushes....I'm hoping. We'll see.

Wonderful progress, it looks great. I honestly it just needs a little tlc. On the motor, it need some cleaning. I usually get a sharpie and sandwich bags and take a lot of pics as I disassemble it. Clean it. Lightly sand the armature. Lube it. Put it back to togetherMake sure have good connections.

Well, spent some time on the motor and switch, gave both a good cleaning and reconditioning. Armature needed a little attention. Also took the switch apart and gave it a good cleaning. All back together and bench tested---Got lucky and operates as it should. Also, finished up the routing of the front brake line.

Got the wiper motor and fresh air vent assemblies back in---that was tricky. In search of some wiper arms if anyone has an extra pair they could part with. Also got the fuel neck cover mocked up. Its close enough to the stock look for now until a real one shows up. And one of the most exciting things so far, is, we got brake pressure at all for corners. Hoping to hang doors, the hatch and interior covers next week, along with mocking up the 55 mirrors. The list is getting smaller.

Decided to make a seal gasket out of some foam for the fresh air vent. Figured it would help seal it up a bit. Not sure what was stock or if they came with a seal gasket of some sort. And replaced the vent tubing. Little tricky mounting them up under the dash but finally got it.

Well, more exciting updates for the LV. Since I did not have any of the inside panels and had to search high and low for them, spent some time today and they are all mocked up. Made the corners, but search is on for the real thing. Gas cap and

filler neck, had to make that too--btw, is in. Picking up the restored LV gas tank on Friday. Hoping to have this thing running in about 2 weeks. Fingers crossed....Kinda liking the gray and white 2-tone. My bench seats are already covered and ready for install.
