Motor is set and perfect fit with the FSR radiator with SPAL fan and shroud.

3 degree angle. I'll get the transmission crossmember made in the morning and then the body will be pulled.

Running a couple sets of sliders and decided to get these worked in.

Dinkus sliders runners versus my standard 60

1.75" x .188" DOM outer rub rail (.120" standard)
3" x 2" x .250" main rail (.188" standard)
.188" tread plate (.093" standard)
These will have 4 frame runners (3 standard)
5.5" wide tread area (3.75" standard)

This is a fun build to follow. Definitely looking forward to seeing the finished vehicle.

I've probably said exactly that already but it bears repeating....

Chassis is stripped down, fully welded out and ready to go to powder.

Motor is in the customs shop and should get started on tearing it down late next week.

Pete and his helper Damion are cranking on the cab.

@Butt Ugly Chuck came by with chorizo breakfast burritos. Thanks again buddy.

Out of curiosity, what made you decide on powder for the frame as opposed to galvanizing? Cost, long term benefit, appearance (I assume you're going black)?

1st) LMFAO--- A GALVANIZE COATER IN CALI, NOT A CHANCE! (cost to ship a frame this size to NUCOR in SLC and back is 3000.00 plus 1800.00 to coat)

2nd) This is a Cali frame to begin with and has zero rust (external or internal)

3rd) I'm not worries about rust. It will never see the east coast or a salted road.

27 year old frame in perfect condition. I easily expect another 27.

Fair enough points. I'm honestly surprised it would be such a PITA and expense to get done in California (at least in your area?).
