Nasty job. Probably easier to plasma the whole f'ing thing off, flap disc the frame, and weld on a new shackle hanger.
Any of you guys ever run D window steelies on a 60? 4wp has some 15x8 with 3.75 backspacing for sale. Didn’t know if anyone had run these and knew if they fit. Sometimes the 4wp wheels won’t fit due to the lips on the back of the holes in the wheels.
I really like this style of wheel, and the PO put 12.5 wide 33s on the oem 6 inch wide wheels and I feel like that’s not too safe. My oem wheels are in great shape, but prefer the black D window wheels.

The lips will grind themselves off on the first drive.
Or grind calipers
Nice. Didn’t think about that. 12.5 tires on 6 inch wheel is a little squirreley sometimes on the road

mainly wanting to just run these wheels because the steel wheels are only $60 a pop at 4wp. New tires are quite a bit more and these are like probably 5 months old on here

The massive amount of rust in the roof, drip rail and D pillar hurt this one. I’m surprised it went as high as it did.
