Nice!

Why is the roof raised like that compared to our 60's?

Thanks, it's a Sahara model so it has a high roof. Also come with PTO winch, full-floating rear and electric sunroof.

Here is a front pic coming out of a barge after an island crossing.

5. 1" Up Alcans springs with 300lb over in rear (maybe too much!), paint, aussie inclinomter, aussie metal dash grab bar, arb headlight harness with ciebe lights, Recaro seats (craigslist), tuffy console, george LED dome, and a yearly "oil undercoat" by a professional 'oiler'. Soon to get pizza cutters.

I just bought it and it's a little rough. Though there is no rust, drivetrain is good and the interior is immaculate (not that I care).

Here are a couple more pictures, My buddy and I are building another one right now, so I can post the build of his cruiser as we go.

The cool thing is that from inside of the cruiser the shifters come thru the existing holes and it looks the same. It does not sound the same though.

By the way this is my everyday driver so it's not cute, but I did not say it's not beautiful.
