Finally: On the registry with a pic...

1. Year and model of vehicle: 1985 FJ60

2. Name of owner: George Navarro AKA gnavarroo

3. Name of vehicle: "The Bloo Crusher"

4. Mileage on the truck odometer: 189,000

5. Modifications, if any: Other than the 16" alloy wheels it came with None yet, Still trying to catch up the maintenance... PO left it in pretty shotty condition

5A. New repairs: Ex/Intake Manifold job, new vac. lines, partial desmog, new coat of paint (had it done cuz insurace paid for it;) ), corrected spacers/lugs on wheels, new radiator and rad hoses...

5B. Things to do next (in priority): New clutch, t'case rebuild, replace U-joints, axle knuckle rebuild, rebuild AC syst. (summers are Freakin' HOT:mad: HOT:mad:HOT  in New Mexico!), new shocks and suspension up grades... possibly a 3" lift.

5C. Rust: Absolutely NONE! This truck had the original Las Cruces Toyota sticker on the rear bumber when I got it... so it's lived in the dry South Western air it's entire life! Lucky me!

6. How you use the truck: Up until recently, it was a yard and street ornament. Cought up on a few things over the last year (slowly but steadily) Now drive it out to Mountain bike trails and use it for haulin' stuff around...

7. A single photo – 29 April, 2007 First pic of the Bloo Crusher in the Southern Doña Ana Mountains, after a mountain bike ride and just before the rare Desert rain... Ahhhhhhhh

I've owned the Land Cruiser for almost 4 years now and I'm finally getting to know this cool thing thanks to this forum. I think I got hosed on the purchase back in 2003 but a little bad luck that turned into good luck and a little "TLC" has brought this truck a ways... It still needs a little more until I can totally put my total trust in it... it wont be long! (about 2months and ~$800 away!)
Thanks to all that have replied to all my questions no matter how simple or dumb... or how repeated they were.
Thanks
George Navarro
