I've been on a mad search for YEARS to obtain NOS OEM rear door checks. . .one of the few parts I've never been able to put my hands on.

I've tried to cross-reference other Toyota models, tried researching superseded part number(s)

Any of you guys know of a compatible rear door check - maybe early 4Runners, Corollas?

Is there a shop that specializes in rebuilding door checks?

Being that your still doing body work, you could modify the doors so that door checks from a new tacoma or something work.

That's the exact sort of statement that gets me in trouble, lol.

Thought about doing that sort of change. I'm already 6 weeks behind schedule and after the tailgate mod idea, my body guy said. . .that's enough.

Found a 60 door check repair kit but store only ships within AUS. . .
