my 0.02 : use the block temp reading port for gauge readout and fan controls instead of cutting into a perfectly good heater hose at the radiator. would clean up the look too.

If the block drain is Hijacked & assimilated into the Holley-Hive ?


Then how do we drain the block when it’s time time to drain the block ?

Well, that's what they call the steam port connection. It actually is a port from the top of the water pump housing that I believe is to reduce vapor locks on the coolant. I believe in the oem installation, there is a port in the radiator.
Thank you, and I agree it would look better without it, but im pretty sure it needs handled in some way or another.

And I am using the block port above the oil filter for a temp gage.👍
 
Matt Kinsela over in Australia owns a 4wd fab shop. He has been on some Aussie YouTube channels before.

He started building a 60-series about a year ago, seems as a bit of a tribute to his father. He has a whole series of videos on the build over the last year. Pretty cool and is a crazy 60!
