Right inside Goltsovoe lake! Nice view and just 8 ours of 6x6 Kamaz waiting. Khibiny mountains.

Just some interior with air system guages replaces central vents and small peace of rare Alpine)

Really - this land is from one side is typical travel region for 4x4s in central Russia/but from other, if one day you came there and really feel this place, you will return again and again and again. And Kola peninsula as well. Really only small part of it covered by road, even for 4x4s/ It's a UTV/Boat/Hike lands. But at the and of August you can sit in chair near to your rig and lookin straight to the north, and sunset-sunrise without night for 4-5 ours above barentsev sea.
Unforchantly there is no sunbath zones, tents ant temp around +15/+0С but the view...
Very dificult to imagine scale, because there is no trees and other usual things the size of which your brain knows. Looks like small lagoone but it's about 15km straight to the nearest cape and takes hour and a half to get there on 35" inch wheels. It's possible to get there on stock 4x4 but the risk to cover stones with ATF/oli is very big)

) Vashlovani national park. Near Azerbaijan federal border.fokin creapy road to Omalo village. 3km pass. ~75km one way. First time take 6 ours and it was very scary) Photo taken by my friend Alexey who spent all of this 75km on a front passanger seat been a car driver to. And did't lost a sound for 2 days. Just set a music on stereo for relaxing lol.
Met there lots of europeans on rigs, bikes and even on Punch trucks from CZ. Very rare 4x4 4ton army truck from 60s like ealy tatra converted to camper. Nice rig.
Good old pre COVID times. Can travel to Georgia and other countries without getin anal zonded an takes 100500 vac and tests(

Huh. Born and live in Moscow. Go hiking/whitewater trails since middle school. Get my first utility 4x4 in 2008. It was right hand drive LN130 Hilux Surf JDM. Thay was wery cheap in this time in Russia and very durable. 130 always in my heart! But all the time i dream about 60 rig. Thig gen is very rare in western Russia, not like 80 or 70 heavy series as well. Was lookin to 75 body too but the round light 60...
And around 2013 a sell my Surf for good price and start lookin... And find one. In Caucasus south Russia region. *Snatch movie airplane trip scene* - me and my friend lookin Mineralnye Vody city airport building(Nice barn, very authentic!) ang take taxi. My dream, little rusty and some gipsy mods but... money, license, no insuracne, night ride 1700km to Moscow, some reg s***, 1/2 year and lots of money and time and i get it from gipsy wedding rig condition to some kind of workpiece that we can take without warries about mechanical and electrical(butthurt for surfs automatic trans wiring problems), some body and new bullbars and rear spera tire gate...
Now spec is 35inch tyres on 4.88 gears A55F and 2H like cherry on a cake lol. Have all parts togater last november for turbo swap(turbo collector, ct26 and all other things) and spare parts for head rebuild. Don't have plans for 32psi AU crazy s***, about 0,5-0,9bar just for higer torq, not for ultraspeed.
shelter for 3 man to spend it behind the ocean and near fireplace build used by nuts and stones. Built 3 years ago by your friend and you and nobody used or make camp here.

I really liked Moscow, but I never seen this Russia. I staye at Hotel Metropol for 2 weeks on a Busines trip. Things i remember: a Harp player at breakfast. How packed Red Square was on a weekend morning when I went out for a jog. No Taxis...just hail any car...lol that was kinda nutty. The casinos!!! Wild west times) It was the other city. Bad communal service, crime, low level corruption everywhere like you are somewhere in africa or middle east. And a roads in winter... uhh. Thats why russians love 4x4. Even if you live in a big city, one day you can get in a big trouble.
