First night in tent was at Paris Mountain SP, SC after Chad and Kos spent their lunch break helping me mount the RTTx. Pulled into said SP at 1945hrs with a sign reading 'campground full, gates locked at 8pm'. Campground was clearly not full so we waited and flagged the 20 odd year old, friendly, deer-in-the-headlights ranger down and politely asked if we could quietly spend the night. Without much thought, he agreed and thankfully assured 3 roadweary beings of a lovely night's rest.
