Be easy enough to tell year by the VIN plate, since it'll give a month and year of manufacture.
In absence of the VIN plate, the VIN itself can be used to narrow to a production period, using SOR's chart, and it located on PS front frame rail.
If both those aren't present, can narrow a production period by the engine ID, which is passenger side of block, by firewall, but a very inaccurate means, since many of these engines have been swapped.
The front indicators and side markers are indicative an earlier year. My '71 and '72 had the same, but neither my '73 nor '74 front fenders/clip had side markers, nor does my '76.
My unsolicited advice is sell it before you see it, otherwise you'll become duly infected with swine flu, a disease unlike any other, as it eats at your brains cognitive abilities, especially those responsibly for rational decisions.
AND STOP WITH THREAD TITLES LIKE THIS ONE!!
If the women see, it'll just give 'em idears, and 40 questions is about 39 too damn many as it is.
